The committee works to strengthen U.S.–Israel relations by fostering American diplomatic, economic, and military support of Israel.  The committee works to combat anti-Israel propaganda and the Arab boycott.  The committee voices concern for oppressed Jewish communities around the world and encourages the development of appropriate legislation to combat international terrorism.  Most recently, the committee has been actively involved in encouraging the development of economic ties between Israel and the State of Indiana.

The Israel Committee usually meets monthly or on an as-needed basis.  This committee is currently chaired by David Warshauer.
