First Half Update

It has been a tough session so far with the JCRC actively working on a large number of bills dealing with social issues including assaults on reproductive rights, the Seperation of Church and State, public education and immigration.  JCRC has also been working with its coalition partners to ensure that human services continue to receive adequate funding in this tough budget cycle.  With legislative action slowed because of the House Democratic walk-out there are still numerous bills in the house that the JCRC is still actively watching.  Please look for more information below on our current Bill Watch and on the Action Alert page.
