Committees

The Israel Affairs Committee works to strengthen U.S.–Israel relations by fostering American diplomatic, economic, and military support of Israel.  The committee works to combat anti-Israel propaganda as well as voicing concern for oppressed Jewish communities around the world.

The Government Affairs Committee works with JCRC's government affairs staff to develop positions on policies and legislation at the local, state, and federal levels of government.  The committee also helps with the planning and implementation of JCRC policy related programming such as political action workshops, legislative roundtables, JCRC Lobby Day, and Community Missions.

The Holocaust Observance Committee assists in planning and implementing the annual community wide Yom HaShoah observance and providing Holocaust education to the broader community.

JCRC's standing committees are open to any member of the Indianapolis Jewish Community. We welcome all who are interested in the pursuit of Democratic pluralism and a safer, more just society for all.
